Interactive CORE Lessons
This Utah CORE Standard Art History Lesson is designed for grades 7-12. It meets Standard 4, Objective 1.a
"Use visual characteristics to group artworks into historical, social, and cultural contexts, eg, cubist view of the Egyptians, Tennebrism of Baroque." Results This learning object created on "Emaze" functions as a stand alone learning exploration for Elearning modules, as well as a facilitated classroom lesson and discussion component. It serves a purpose in clarifying two commonly mistaken styles in art history, while acclimatizing students to evaluating the subtle differences and overlap between styles.
